This abstract work is the raw expression of my innate state of being. The vulnerability wrought forth creates a tangible visual of the depths of who I was and who I am. As I move freely and fluidly over the canvas, the ephemeral expression of all that I hold internally is preserved in paint. Color is informed by sound and my synesthetic response to the music playing during the process. My somatic process is a complete release of control, where I find freedom and clarity through the excavation of emotions, ideals, conscious and unconscious energies. It is a reclamation of what is mine, calling myself back home through radical presence in my body. The work is a celebration of the feminine as sacred, powerful, generative, transformative and ever-changing.

My method of full body expression presents ambiguous forms to be viewed from any direction, striking their own vibrational resonance and personal connection with the viewer. Each piece moves, breathes, and will speak when you pause to listen.
